ten things plans i cant start

you can fill up yours at 43things.com, but for me, the choices there are way impractical for me to fulfill. so i list down ten things i'm planning to do (and i push myself to get it started!)

1. Quit late nights/sleep. Do you know skin cells work when you're asleep? That might help to have a more glowing skin. And I really need a lot of rest for my next plan, which is..

2. Weight training. I noticed these hunks showing their muscles off. I dream to look like them. Well, my dream can be a reality.. Just put some pounds on the weight room. I hope it won't be a ningas-kugon.

3. Clean. My room is a mess! Just like other men's room. But it's nice to see my room clean and comfy once in a while.

4. More education. I'm considering taking up a post-graduate course. What a nice way to fill up my resume!

5. Spend all i want and save as much as well. Ironic, isn't it? I still plan for the future.

6. Upgrade my wardrobe. I'm currently downsizing my shirts from XL to L. Power dressing, preparing for my toned body. (Dream on!)

7. Pamper. I want to experience the good life. The facial treatments, massages, hair rebonds and all. (Again, DREAM ON!)

8. Loose myself. I'm already stiff half of my life. Change won't be a bad idea, isn't it?

9. Secure my job. What's next to landing a job? Securing it.

10. Go places. I haven't been into places further than 100 kms. away from home.

The Basics of Cash Flow

Just a repost from my email. Truth hurts, but it really made sense. Sapul na sapul! Really, an eye-opener of sorts. Give it a read.. it’s worth your time.

What pattern do you see if you will get a P100.00 bill and monitor where and how it is transferred from 1 possessor to the other? How does it flow? The pattern for a typical Pinoy is.

You earn from your work, you spend it on food, gadgets, clothing and other basic needs. Before you reach the next payday, paubos na yung pera mo. But that's ok payday is just a few days ahead and it doesn't matter if I run out of money, I am expecting money again any time soon.

This cycle goes on and on and you make some sidelines or create other ways to earn but it seems that money was never enough.

So you can't leave the job that you have because a week without work would affect the cash flow you have to support your family and needs. As much as you wanted to accept another job, the gap would make you pay less for a couple of days, which makes you a slave to your boss.

At least, you have a job to support your needs.

So to illustrate, cash is flowing inside your pocket. Years have gone by doing your monotonous routine.

Question... what if you get Fired? Or you were forced to retire because there are new and younger people ready to take your place. What would you do?

As an OFW, Makati Executive, Top Salesman, Engineer, Attorney, Teacher, etc...What if it all ends? The sweet cash that enters your pocket every 15th and 30th suddenly comes to a halt.

There are two things you can buy with your money - an asset and a liability. To describe each: An asset brings money inside your pocket; a liability takes money out of your pocket. Another way to see, it is that an asset if you buy one, will bring the money you spent for it back to you 2 or 3 folds.

A liability, when you buy it will not give your money back at all.

Guys, esep-esep... what you bought... will it bring money back to you? I know what you have in mind... you have to enjoy what you worked hard for. That's right, but think of something that will last... think of your future.

I have seen the worst of people who were abogado de kampanilya, executive secretaries of top rank business men, people who worked for big companies, earned a fortune and got a big retirement pay by the millions... Now.... Wala na.

Why? Because of their cash flow... went in... went out. I need not to mention basketball players, actors, singers, etc... Check what is their career path... next after acting, singing and playing... POLITICS.

Going back... all the liability they bought, ibinenta ng mura! I'm wearing a gold chain now, which I got from a seaman... he bought it for P35,000 and sold it for 8,000 to me. Hindi po asset ang alahas! Bakit? (wala bang aaray?) Cell phones... dvd players etc. pati bahay at kotse... that's the cash flow of most OFWs...

The question is ... "WHAT IF THE INCOME STOPS?"

Sa Pinoy, ganito. "Anak... mag-aral kang maigi, at pag tanda namin... ikaw na bahala sa amin ha...." Hindi po ba maling-mali...

You have to establish something today that will take care of your future.

You must create a source of income that will continually make money flow inside your pocket. Start a business! While you are working as an executive or an OFW, or a professional... START A BUSINESS and MASTER that business till you get out of that company.

Now don't tell me to invest my money on pensions and plans... NO WAY!

Imagine yourself when you reach an older age... You have money that the company gave you as your retirement pay... what will you do?

You can consume the money till your old... eh kung hindi umabot?

Or maybe, you can start a business and use the money for capital... Kapatid... 9 out of 10 businesses, FAILED... yung isang magsa-succeed, gagayahin pa ng kapitbahay mo instead na mag-franchise sa 'yo... think! At age 50, you are struggling trying to make a business work! What if it fails?!

Eh ano nga ba ang sagot?

The answer is, stop buying liabilities and instead buy assets now. I don't care if it is a banana-Q store, balot, ice candy or a sari-sari store, etc...start now! Because, your experience here will teach you what to do in the future. It's so hard to struggle in business when you are 60 yrs old.

You have to create a source of income separated from the source of income from your work. That when the time comes that you have to stop working, you will have your own source of money! Create assets, start a business that will be there to support you and your family. I AM NOT TELLING YOU TO QUIT YOUR JOB! I'm telling you to start a business while you're working and stop spending your money on liabilities and start putting them on assets!

The business has to be prioritized! Mawalan ka man ng trabaho, may negosyo kang palalaguin.

If before, nabubuhay ka naman ng iisa sapatos mo, huwag mo baguhin 'yun...dati, nagdyi-jeep ka lang... 'wag ka na munang mag-FX...

Create assets and lessen liabilities. Invest and learn now... mag-negosyo!

Eh anong negosyo? Any, as long as you think it is work and doable! I am still looking for partners for my HOME MASSAGE SERVICE! SPA MAGIC! And my business CAR MAGIC is still franchising... (joke lang ... baka sabihin nyo nag pro-promote lang ako eh...But I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT ALL MY BUSINESSES ARE ORIGINAL AND ALL ARE GRAND ASSETS!

I started all my businesses with a very small capital. If I used that money to buy a gadget, new shoes or any liability... baka wala lahat ng negosyo ko at wala na akong makain ngayon.

Again, I hope that this BASIC CASH FLOW article helps.... I wish all of us become financially free.

Inbisibol

I've been ignored by people lately. Do I look like a bum? Or just the indecisive-unassertive-unconfident me showing off involuntarily?

I need help, desperately...

Insomiacs Beware!

Research has proven that depriving the body of sleep may result to life-threatening diseases like coronary heart disease, cause erectile dysfunction and hormonal imbalance, disrupt metabolism, impair mental performance and adversely affect mental and psychological states.

If our body only gets an average of less than five hours of sleep at night, our chance of suffering a heart attack or dying from one nearly doubles compared to when we have a complete, rejuvenating sleep.

Sleep deprivation also seriously sabotages our body's metabolism, undermining our ability to burn fat. Fat cells in our body produce a hormone called leptin, which tells the body how much potential energy it has stored. Since leptin production peaks at night while sleeping, sleep deprivation can throw levels of this hormone sky high. Our body then loses track of how much energy it has reserved, and instead of burning fat, stores it.

A man's testosterone (male sex hormone) levels crash when his body is sleep-deprived, which triggers a drop in men's desire for sex and also inhibits his ability to maintain an erection.

Sexual hormone imbalance such as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH or prostate enlargement in men) and menstrual disorder in women are also effects of sleeping problems.

As I was bloghopping, I read an entry about Bulitas' sleep tablets. That could be an innovation.

I remember when I'm deprived of rest, I would tell my folks, "If only I could buy some sleep.."

Then our naughty minds start to think some of the crazy things, like, what would the immediate effect of the tablet? Instant eye gunk? HAHAHA!

PBA: The Pride is Back!

Like what I've said last time, I'm feeling the basketball fever nowadays. So I'm quite busy reading those news, updates, previews, and forecasts. The 32nd season of the PBA has just started last Sunday.

Damn! I missed the opening ceremonies! Good thing there is a recap after the game.

Now, i would say, the PBA have a VERY good production team. They are keeping at pace with the fad. Inviting the hottest performers in town, APO Hiking Society (hot because of their Tribute Album) and Kamikazee (hot and fresh! kangkarot and maharot)

Interesting to watch are the muses. Comprising the list of muses are; Tanya Garcia (Air21), Gelli de Belen (Alaska), Angelica Panganiban (Barangay Ginebra), Justin Gabionza (Coke), the 12 girls of Deal or No Deal (Purefoods), Valerie Concepcion (San Miguel), Lara Precious Quigaman (Sta. Lucia), Pauline Luna (Talk N Text) and Bianca King (Welcoat). Red Bull opted to parade a cutie and not a celebrity.

Hmmm. Purefoods! 12 (out of 26) girls of Deal or No Deal! No wonder!

The opening-day game is a no brainer! Powerhouse Ginebra against the newbie Welcoat. For Ginebra, every position is loaded. They are the early favorite to win the title. Rudy Hatfield even quoted:

We are going to win the championship!

What a confidence! Shouting it at the start of the tournament!

With an increased venue attandance and a good fight at the ratings game, truly, the pride is back for the PBA!

Milenyo

Subtitled "Shopping Spree part 2."

Well, kasali ako sa kanila!

At nitong nagdaang araw, may 3-day sale pa sa SM Manila.
