2009 Miss Universe beauty pageant will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. This year’s Miss Universe is the 57th year of this annual event of most beautiful ladies on Earth.
Miss Universe 2008 Dayana Mendoza will be crowning the 58th Miss Universe at the end of this event. About 80 countries, both returning and debuting, are expected to participate in the Miss Universe 2009. Broadcasting of the beauty pageant will be handled by NBC and Telemundo.
