The official poster for The Twilight Saga: New Moon has been released!

Fan made posters for the film have been circulating on the Internet in the past few weeks but this one is the real deal.

In the much-anticipated sequel, a love triangle arises involving Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), her vampire love interest Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner).





In other New Moon news, the first clips of the movie will be shown at The MTV Movie Awards on May 31.

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters November 20. Twilight New Moon Full Trailer has been shown with the moview Bandslam starring Vanessa Hudgens.

The movie is about the transformation of a "normal" family man (Jim Carrey) to a man obsessed with the number 23, thus connecting every info to the number.

Maganda, basta, ang ganda ng twist. A typical pinoy movie, pero sa dulo pinakita yung twist. Hindi sa umpisa. Although maraming poor reviews, nasasabi kong "the movie was done in good taste." Good performance by Jim Carrey, but he is no Robin Williams. [at least for now.]

Nagtataka lang ako, wala explanation kung bakit 23. Ibig sabihin, may misteryo nakatago si Michael Jordan? Pwede namang #24, 25, 26, 27, blah, blah, blah. Ewan ko, parang math puzzle ang nangyari. kailangang may konek sa number 23.

Apocalypto

Recently watched Mel Gibson's Apocalypto, its not as gore as I expected. "The Departed" is more shocking and gore!
It's R-18, so showing is so scarce, it's not shown at the nearby SM.

Well, for my review, this movie took me into another place and time. It's like you are right there watching them upclose from afar, ala-national geographic, haha!
Mel Gibson has a lot of creative juices, given that he's not drunk.

I expected that the movie tackles about the Mayan civilization, at least they were brought to the city, sold as slaves, as sacrifice. The rituals, I won't elaborate anymore, hehe! but its ok, you can tolerate the gore! The characters talking in native Mayan language. the subtitles might bother you at the start, like watching a foreign film. But action scenes don't have scripts anymore, unlike our classic Pinoy movie.

Whew! I somewhat enjoyed the movie, watched the longest chase scene ever made! I wish I could have their extraordinary stamina, being hurt(speared) and all, still running full-speed nonstop, day and night. I suppose when you're running for dear life, you'll forget how to be "tired." We went on a debate on what animal was chasing them? my friend said 'twas a jaguar, having a connection to Jaguar Feet, and i insisted 'twas a panther. Hehe! Turns out to be a jaguar! [Poor zoology memory!]

I was not satisfied at the ending. since im transported in ancient times, im craving for more bloodbath! more suspense! more carnage! i want them all dead! [rrrawl!]

Flashback: Went to Gateway mall, anyway. As I look around, i noticed the security. I wonder, what could be the benefits being one? Haircut? Facial? Makeover? Hmmm, I can say is... well-groomed. Starstruck!

As for my glutton, we gave Taco Bell another shot. We both had not-so-good tastebud experiences with the tacos. I tried the burrito, while my friend chose quesadilla. Not bad, filled stomachs! But I forget to take my cam out, since i turned myself into camwhore mode these days, hahaha!

Improving, the cinema lobby are now filled with seats. Unlike before, when I seat on the floor waiting for the next screening. now i can't take my cam out. Hello! cinema premises! grounds for piracy! Hay, still dreaming to have my pics with the seats and the garden backdrop nearby.

Take the Lead Movie Online

recently watched take the lead. i was hesitant for the longest time. (again?) it seems that i dont have a knack for good movies, or its just i had a bad taste for its poster. well, i watched it so i can adapt the dancesport theme on our xmas party (naks!)



the movie started with these bunch of high school teens, spending their time at the detention. Pierre Dulaine just wanted to put their lives back on track, thru ballroom dancing. i was surprised, its not just dance, as what Dulaine explained, dancing teaches us a lot of values.

well, im a just love movies that inflicts values. AnakTV seal, that is!

Fragile Movie Online

Got too see the movie Fragile. My reason might be i got a bit scared on the trailer.

There's minimal blood spill in the movie. Just what i am looking for: psychological terror rather than shredded flesh and brutal violence.

The broken bones of the children is a mystery that Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal) is trying to figure out. The ghost was just downright evil as hell. it is somewhat hair-raising, especially the scene when the ghost showed up. Then, the fright that comes along with this "ghost idea" was again revived into my veins. If there were scary ghosts, then there must be a balance, the good ones. Hope that good ghosts are around me.

If you wanna give a scare for yourself, this one's gonna go down into my list. Highly recommended for nurses and wannabees alike. Hehe!

Shaken or Sterile

At first, I was hesitant watching the movie. But last night, I decided to give in to my officemate's craving. I thought it was another spy-hard, hardcore action movie.

Damn, i got hooked.
The 21st installment of the Bond franchise, it is actually based on Ian Fleming's first Bond novel. But what made it different to the other 20 is that, this Bond is far more vulnerable than his predecessors - he was at first arrogant, gritty and warfreak, then he have his heart broken.

What's the connection of the title to movie? Just watch it. Its worth your money.

Nahahati ang pelikula sa dalawang bahagi: First half at second half. (Nye!)

Who is Davy Jones?

Its payback time for Davy Jones! For raising the Black Pearl from the depths for thirteen years, in return for Capt. Jack Sparrow's (Johnny Depp) soul.

He was a man of the sea, but one day, he fell in love. (I don't know if it's the sea or a woman.) Davy couldn't stand the pain of being away from his love, so he carved out his heart, placed it in a box, and set it down deep into the ocean. A key is supposed to open the box, and upon stabbing the heart, the power of the seas will be removed from Davy.

The movie goes around that plot, the race to pay Jack's debt, Will's (Orlando Bloom) promise to his father that he will stab Jones' heart so his father would be freed, and other twists and turns.

What is the story behind William/Bill "Bootstrap" Turner Sr.?

When the ship's first mate Barbossa staged a mutiny, as narrated in the first movie, Bill Turner was the only man among them who did not side with the mutineers. When the chest of Aztec gold they found on the island turned out to be cursed, Bootstrap believed that they deserved to remain cursed for marooning Jack. Thus, he sent his piece of the gold back to his son for safekeeping. Barbossa was greatly angered by Turner's outburst and betrayal.

The members of the Black Pearl chained him to the cannonball and tossed him in the sea, he was being crushed by the weight of the ocean, unable to die, and unable to escape. At that moment, he was desperate for any way to escape, and when Davy Jones offered his services, Bootstrap gladly accepted.

Superman returns after 5 years of absence because he was away looking for remains of planet Krypton. Louis is engaged with Richard and has a kid called Jason. Meanwhile Luther find Superman's fortress and steals his crystals. He fuses one with Kryptonite and throws it into the sea creating a big land mass which will push out the sea and drown America. Superman shows up there but is beaten up badly and thrown into the sea cause he is powerless on Kryptonite landmass. Louis saves him from drowning. Superman then rips the whole landmass and throws it out in space.

He goes unconscious, crashing back into the atmosphere and landing in Metropolis's Centennial Park. We then see Superman being rushed into a hospital where the doctors attempt to tend to him, but since he's invulnerable and the needles break as soon as they try to put them in, all the doctors can do is hope and pray.

The next day, Lois and his son went to the hospital. The doctor shows them to where Superman is sleeping. Lois looks at him as Jason examines the suit and goes, "Can you hear me? They say people can hear you, even when they're unconscious. Can you hear me?" She pauses, and then moves closer, continuing, "There's something...something I have to tell you." She bends over and whispers something in his ear, and then kisses him on the forehead. She grabs Jason and moves to leave when Jason dashes back to the bedside and kisses Superman's forehead too.

Trivia: When director Bryan Singer became interested in possibly hiring Brandon Routh, he arranged for them to meet in a coffee shop. When they met at their table, Routh stumbled and spilled hot coffee all over the table. Although he panicked, thinking he had just lost the part, Singer laughed and said it actually helped him get the part. The incident convinced Singer that Routh could pull of the clumsy, bumbling Clark Kent.

Double picture: Flightplan and Cinderella Man

Cinderella Man - for the longest time, i thought it was a tearjerker movie.. but upon hearing that it's on the elite's movie list, i started to get curious.. then, rushed to the nearest video store.. the reviews were right, the movie (boxing career of James "Jim" J. Braddock) is totally inspiring! Having a comeback in the boxing ring (to help his family) says it all. His amazing comeback became the source of inspiration of many down-on-their-luck Americans during that time.

I just love movies where the underdogs prevail (as they always do). Russel Crowe portrayed effectively (no wonder he got an Academy nomination), his character (Jim) was so humble, so down-to-earth. It somewhat moved me in that scene where he walks to the ring on his title bout, the whole Madison Square Garden crowd suddenly became quiet (a sign of respect, maybe) and, his hometown crowd filling up the church to pray for him.

It's nice to see one man's determination to get up after his stumble. Hope I could do the same. (and not just sit in a corner and reminisce what went wrong) L-) Take note: the movie is based on a true story.


Flightplan- Ms. Jodie Foster does it again.. hey, she's doing movies once in a blue moon, so you are sure on what she has to offer. As the title implies, the story is set on the aircraft. Nah, forget the first half of the movie (unless you want it detailed). Kyle's (Foster) daughter, Julie, was kidnapped while she was asleep; the whole plane didn't even noticed the kid, nor was she in the flight manifesto. Everybody thought she was going out of her mind.

Then the suspence comes. my heart breaks as she is surrounded by people who don't believe her. You feel her pain as a woman who has lost everything, and refuses to believe she has to lose her daughter.

But you can never take away a mother's instinct. Being an aircraft engineer that she was, she searched the whole plane for her daughter, only to find out that she was being setup(ed).

just watch the movie to find out how the story goes. But i guess you are thinking it was a happy ending.
