Who Wants to Be a Millionaire was first franchised by Viva TV way back in 2000 with Christopher de Leon as the first game master. It was aired on IBC 13 until 2002 when its studio was razed by a fire. It was a hit among Pinoy televiewers back then.

Seven years after, the popularity of the said game show was revived by the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire. To date, more than 60 countries have their own version of the show. And this year, the Philippines will have its new version, too, courtesy of TV5.

Traditionally, Who Wants to be a Millionaire? is a general knowledge game show that sets off challenges, suspense, and a 1 Million cash prize. But when it premieres on TV5, the show escalates it to a P2,000,000 jackpot prize, turning the contestants eager and excited as the questions eventually turn into higher levels of difficulty.

cant get enough of Heroes

Just finished watching Heroes, well not actually. I skip episodes 6-10, we only have episodes 11-18, tsk tsk tsk!



If you like the X-men, you'll like Heroes as well. all new twists. People discovering their supernatural abilities. A cheerleader that self-heals... jump off a tower and gets broken ribs. Then all she does is just put it back in place.

A kid who can manipulate electronic operations, especiallty the ATM. instant millionaire here.

Three sides want to collect and discover them. (1) an organization that is tracking them, (2) one that absorbs other powers by killing them; and (3) a doctor, continuing his father's work, looking for evolved humans to warn them about number (2).

I like Hiro Nakamura (played by Masi Oka), and his misadventure with buddy Ando. Just like our ordinary funny sometimes geeky conversations.

after 18 episodes, there's a lot of mystery. too much questions have come up, so little answers revealed/ i guess the series has a long way to go. the search for evolved humans, the algorithm to do it and the drama behind every superhuman keeps on piling up.

Si Gabriela ay may kababatang nagngangalang Diego, ang kanyang love interest. At natuklasan nyang si Elias ay si Diego! Obvious namang hango sa mag-asawang Diego at Gabriela Silang. Lintik naman talaga, obvious na obvious ang koneksyon.

At ang kanilang destinasyon ngayon, dahil nga Asian treasures, ay Thailand. Naging travel show na ang nangyari. Hanap dito, libot doon. Kelangan dumaan sa mga landmarks at ang karerang ala-Amazing Race at challenges, na mala-Survivor! at syempre may kasamang todo-acting!

Ang magandang ending para dito ay gayahin sana sa pelikulang “The Departed.” Magpatayan na silang lahat! Yun lang! Nakakabwisit na kasi! Hindi na pinag-iisipan, basta may mapalabas lang. Kunsabagay, ano nga naman ang pakialam ng mga mangmang sa mga detalye?

i've been waiting this. i saw the "Heroes" teaser while watching WWE recaps over at RPN9. since i don't have (the time to apply for) a cable subscription, that why i'm raving. Good thing Solar got it, current reception of RPN9 is good, compared to Studio23.



pirates over at quiapo doesn't have the complete season 1 yet, so i don't want to waste some money. Now, jologs-novela addicts at my place are scared as early as i noticed the teaser.. the boobtube monster, lording over the remote, will be back! Hahaha!
